Maybe I'm retarded but how does that make it easier?

Do you sit on the ground or a stool? I imagine you can't stand under there.

Is it possible to change it out to lift from the frame? Otherwise it has pretty limited use in my opinion

Maybe the OP is a midget...

I would be more than happy to park my fat ass on a rolling stool and wrench though.

Super Jealous of your home setup... What your garage roof height

10.5 foot to the ceiling. Hi lift door kit and side mount Liftmaster door opener.

Anytime you don't have to lye on your back it's easier.

Can't stand no, but sitting a a stool for many things is easier on the back.
With a car though, you can stand and I'm 5'11"

I have the scissor jack option that slides down the middle that allows you to lift front or rear end wheels off the ramps.

Comes in real handy for working on cars though. Easy oil changes.
Besides, it's heated so winter isn't an issue when working in it. TV, stereo with in ceiling speakers, power and air, bar fridge, exhaust fans for, well exhaust. As well, it's also the winter cigar room.

We have a similar lift in the shop, it's actually way nicer than the type that lift from the frame, we have 6 tall jackstands that allow us to lift from any point on the vehicle, and you have control of the suspension travel too instead of everything just hanging.

Love the RS spoiler on the track 911. I have a M3 for my track car.

Get that 3rd gen off that lift. Sell it and go back to your yuppie Porsche forum where you belong!! Or get 5th gen and bother them. Lol

Pure jealously speaking. Nice setup and beautiful Porsche.

I was really confused and thought this was gonna be some kind of monster truck with a body swap... I must say I'm disappointed but also envious of your lift. I don't even have a garage. Nothing like good ole' asphalt.

Sweet setup. Your garage could be longer though :P

A lift is definitely on my list of things to buy when I (hopefully) buy a house next year.
