1995 v6 5 speed. sr5. has 181k its very strong and i can do 80mph no problem.. idk why people say 3.slow but its been good to me and ive owned it since feb. has new cv axles and rebuilt the hubs. so heres a few pictures. any questions just ask me

thats everything i have for it and ill have the rest installed this weekend. I'm also picking up 32x10.50s for my new rims this weekend to. I'll post pics when im done. Next is a locker but idk if i should get front or rear... i really dont offroad much maybe once a month for like 30 minutes just to use 4x4. I'm currently in Fort knox, Kentuvky. I hate getting stuck. lol

I can (barely) do 90 with my '87 with the 22RE, which is odd, because my '86 couldn't hit 75.

That's a nice looking 2nd gen. I like the snorkel.
 
haha i usually set the cruise on 80 just going down the interstate sometime, but whenever i come off a curb i here a popin sound. or hit a pothole kinda hard or go up on a curb i here like a popin sound kinda like creaking, could that be bad balljoint or what?

you said your in fort knox Kentucky......do you know a guy James Hutchison that is also stationed there?
 
no idk that name i only been here 2 weeks, do you know what company he's in.. im in 19th engineering Battalion 76 engineering company
 
Looks nice. I can get my 22re to about 85, shakes like crazy though. I get the same noise when I hit bumps fast. I greased most of my ball joints recently, need to fit some zirks onto the lowers still. But I think it may be the steering stops on mine, they should be greased too, and I just haven't done it.
 
haha mine doesnt shake or anything tho lol. But ill try greasing them and see what happens, Because like all the lil boots on the balljoints are not torn or riped and still seem sealed!
 
Get a set of manual hubs, which allow you to separate the wheels from the CVs so that when they are unlocked and your in 2wd, nothing in your front end is turning, then put a locker in the front. If you dont want to switch to manual hubs, lock the rear.

Pull those running boards off for a little more clearance.

Nice truck, lets see that snorkel put to use!

i love manual hubs, i want factory AISINS hubs tho. MY isuzu trooper has tho and they havnt failed me yet!!!! i was actually already looking to get a set. do you guys know what spline my truck is? 30 or 27? Thanks itll be months before i can save for another part for my truck. whats a good locker for the front run?? i doubt ill be in water for the snorkal, lol i only bought it for looks i paid $125 for it and only $40 for my bumper!!!!! i love craigslist
 
All IFS parts for these trucks are 27 spline. any 4wd solid axle (front or rear) is going to be 30 spline. Thats a good deal on the snorkel and bumper. As far as lockers, look at spartan or aussie, they seem to be gaining popularity.
