looks great! Priced fairly as well. I was looking at RCI's which are 3/16" steel, which is pretty similar to what this is. I wonder if there are any major diffrences between the two? My front skid is looking pretty beat up.

I can't say what any differences would be. I do know this is built very well and shipped very quickly. I did discover that it didn't just "bolt-on". I had to drill the 2 front holes in my cross member to run the mounting bolts through. Not too big of a deal, just a hiccup during installation.

I also picked up some 5th gen SR5 wheels and bed lined them. They'll be getting installed with some 285's this winter.:becky:
I'm looking to do this exact same thing.... I got to get away from the plasti dip, and I'd imagine the bedliner has held up well? Mind sharing your process of how you bedlined them, what you used, and any other tips (like was it really helpful that the tires were not mounted when you did it, or doesn't really matter?). Also, how's you keep the yota badge on the center cap chrome?
I'm between this and painting them myself, I just see it's hard to really get the paint looking "professional" when you're diy'ing without a spray gun, plus the bedline seems more unique and easier to do.

How has that particular RTT worked out over time ? significant noise added ?
Consideration for future tires: The Duratracs in 235/85-16; they ended up being a lot quieter than the 255/85 KM2's I mounted prior and I gained a lot more traction in very diverse conditions ... they don't look as bad ass as the wider tires you see but they perform exceptionally well in real life conditions.

I built a sleeping platform and got a folding full size memory foam mattress and me and the girlfriend sleep pretty good now!
That last one with the mattress is sweet! I’m planning a kayak fishing trip where I’ll have to drive 18 hours. I had a buddy that was going to join me, but he bailed. This will come in super handy since I will have to stop a lot more now to rest. Also love that I can store stuff under the bed frame.

It has held up great. It has faded a bit since I've done it, but it still looks good faded.
I used just spray can bed liner. For prep, I cleaned the surface with 3M adhesive remover. Then I used tack cloth. I didn't sand anything. The chrome toyota logo pops out of the center cap. I took it off, painted, then reinstalled it.
I'd say having the tires off the wheel helped. Less prep for sure.

Appreciate the kind words. The RTT didn't add much noise. Dropped the MPG a bit, but oh well. It has worked out well for us, we use it all the time in the summer with zero issue.

LOVE them. After all the trips offroad and miles driven they have exceeded my expectations.
They are a noisey tire, that would be my only complaint, but they are an M/T tire...what do you expect?:biggrin1:

Pros:
Built extremely well.
Powder coated.
Holes ready for my winch.
No more tire rub.
Cons:
Had to shim the bumper out for the hood to close. (heavy as hell to take on and off)
Exposes the washer fluid bottle and pump.
Overall I'm happy. A lot of f*ckery to get it aligned and looking right to me but it was worth it.

Installed some PIAA 530 fogs today. Also installed new 5100's with OME 886's to get the front end a little higher due to the bumper and winch weight. Pics to come.
