My 95 is Leaking gas near the tank

Ok so we all know this is not good, but this truck doesn't play off road, and there is not any rust on or around the tank, how in the world is it leaking out of the blue? and how can I get a full fuel diagram to figure this thing out?

The tank seems to spray under pressure when the truck is on. right off the middle of the tank seem behind the rear passenger wheel. I have the door off that shows the fill spout, and I can see that there is a cage gaurd all around the tank.

Any help on how to start this one would be great.

I'm thinking out loud.
First- the tank is never under pressure, even when running.
Second- are there any fuel lines near the area of the leak?

There is a return fuel line (that bleeds off extra fuel/pressure from the injectors/pressure regulator.

THat is very interesting. It seems like the tank is under pressure. Here is an interesting side note, we noticed a gas smell 2 days ago, and also noted that for some reason, the truck was running well rather than it's normal badly running. I had to have a blown manifold repaired at a really bad shop years ago, took them 2 months and the truck has never run well since we got it back. knocking, offensive gas mileage, no power. I've replaced the computer and cleaned replaced the EGR valve to correct an engine light warning, but that is it.

If the tank is under pressure, loosen the gas cap and see if you get a hiss. MAYBE the gas cap vent is clogged.

It's 3vzE, and yes there is a hiss every time you open the gas cap, has been that way for a long time, at least up till the engine manafold gasket replacement years ago.

So right now my main question is, should the tank itself be under pressure or just the line? This answer will tell us a lot about what I will find.

Secondly, what is the easiest way to lower the tank to see the problem area?
