My Brake Purchase Rant

So I ordered new brakes for my 4Runner last Monday. I purchased from Buybrakes.com and was told that all of the components are available. The following day I had received one set of pads. I was surprised those came so quickly. I was told about 5-7 business days. So now I'm waiting on the rest of the components. I went with EBC Greenstuff pads, front and rear, EBC USR Rotors all around and Goodridge stainless lines all around. Saturday came around and I still hadn't seen any shipping confirmation on the rest of my order. I called and asked what was going on and the person just tells me they are shipping from other warehouses. I just wanted to know where my order sat. So today, Monday, I call again and speak with customer service. The woman informs me that the rest of my order is shipping from EBC but they have recently moved to a new warehouse. She told me that she will call EBC and then call me back. I hear back and find out that my parts are available but EBC cannot locate the parts. Just my luck. All I can do is wait. Although I was able to use a coupon code for $50 off of my original order, the customer service rep gave me an additional $50 off because of the situation. Not bad. I just need my parts! Not sure if I'll go this route again.

Unless you NEED new pads asap, I'd be happier about $100 off than the annoyance of waiting for stuff to get there. I ordered from bodybuilding.com today and I'm hoping they screw it up so I can get free stuff, lmao.

[MENTION=64685]TOY2G[/MENTION] As requested. Originally I was going with the slotted and drilled rotors but they were all out of stock at the time. These slotted only rotors saved me some money.

Yeah, my pads are at the minimum right now as what the dealer told me. I figure I have some time left with them after their statement.

UPDATE:

So I have found out that the Goodridge SS lines will not be ready until sometime in February. As I do not necessarily need them(would have been nice to have)I have canceled that piece to my order and received a refund.
