There are some amazing build threads on this site, this won't be one of them. I plan on putting some nice upgrades in this truck though. I'm starting this to keep track of what I do and when. Here it is when I got it and the beloved truck it replaced:

I'm waiting until the holiday sales that I know are coming before I spend any real money. I got a nice LED interior kit from ebay for $19 shipped. There were enough bulbs left over I was able to do my g/f's 14 Corolla too so she was stoked.

The weather hasn't cooperated so I haven't been able to paint the silver bumper trim pieces but that's coming. I did get the badges done though.

As soon as the Black Friday sales start, a lift will be on order.
 
Today was bed lining the front and rear silver bumper inserts. I filled in the holes for the front plate bracket. I'll have a different mount for the front plate. I took the "4RUNNER" badge off the tailgate also.

Looks like you're out in Norfolk. I'm over in VA Beach. Congrats on the new 4runner. Wish i went with the trail
 
I am in VB too, looking forward to hearing what lift you install to get those tires on....I just bought my 2013 SR5 and cant wait to swap tires but cant decide on what lift.
 
Looking good so far. I just recently joined the 5th gen club too and like you have some 255/80/17 shoes that don't yet fit. Just waiting for my lift to get here to install.

Yeah, it's black. There are a few indents in the black plastic piece underneath some of the letters. Just fyi, it looks clean but some have heartache over the little dents.
 
Ah well not to many of us are back there looking ! No I think that looks good , one less piece to worry over . And I've seen what 2 little dents look like on my fricking doors !

Well, I spoke with Wheelers yesterday and the coilovers are on backorder as a result of the sale. So, they shipped the rear end stuff and I'm looking at least a 2 week wait on the fronts. As soon as they arrive though, it's all going on.
 
Heh I just spontaneously called them for my order today too.

Same thing, getting my rears shipped now, the UCAs I ordered will be at least 2 weeks...

Ah well, saved a ton of money. I can wait I guess :)
 
Nice on the subdued look. Are you doing your rims too? I have been thinking of plastidipping mine and blacking out the emblems.
