Not finished yet but here is what i have left to do..
-Glass box on the inside
-round out box corners
-brace box on inside
-seal the top
-carpet the outside
-big 3
-run the 0g power wire
-add second nine.1
-build amp rack
-install the 6000's
-edead the front door
- add edead to factory panels in the rear
-Misc stuff

But on to what is done already, With the help of a freind a box came to life. Must say even though it was cold as heck outside he knocked this thing out in no time.

Now the rear doors. Needed to do some thing to stop the EU-700 from rattling my doors apart.

TO BE CONTINUED

i believe its tunned to 44 after displacement its around 7.8 cf.

What grocery's i'm single, i eat out every night ;)

The tailgate was very simple, were the strap is to pull it down there is a cover and 1 10mm bolt, after that it pops off of the bottom and the top is just like removing a door panel.

So unsnap the bottom tap it up with your palm and it pops right off.

I thought about the camera before i sealed everything, but i had already started on it and didn't have a camera. Forgot to add that to my buy sheet of parts.

Price is not that bad, not including radio i have. ummm i have

200 nine.1
235 nine.1
135 kinetic
45 burp button
95 6000v2
25 Eu-700
freebie Fultron amp
190 misc wires and stuff
100 in the 12's

So right around 1000.00 for all of it so far.

Figure maybe less then 100 in other misc items.

Good thing about ED even if you purchase used, they transfer warranty and starting Feb 1st it s a5 year warranty, hard to beat that. So i got both amps used and the Eu-700 rest is new from them..

Just curious why are you using the EU700s in the rear doors? Aren't they used only for bass? Isn't that what your subs are for? Will the 6000s give you enough highs - midrange?

I'm asking all these questions because I am thinking about just adding the 6000s to my fronts and 700s in my rear doors. I want to keep my 4runner as stock-looking as possible.

I have the Eu-700 for base yes, i don't run my 12's all the time. They are a little to much for daily driver. it's tuned for pure SPl. i play them here and there but not full time. That's were the 700's come in. They give the effect of a pair of 10's. I still have not started on my front doors.

Trying to get the subs done so i can get all my amps wired right. not going to hook up the 6000's with out having amp ready for them,.

Where'd you pick up the used ED subs? I checked their website but didn't see anything there. $25 each? Wow.... I'd pick up 4 or 6 of them just to replace my 2 8" tubes if they are still that low with a warranty.

Thanks.... too bad, only single voice coil. But you sure can't beat the price, even if you blow one, it's cheap enough to remove/replace. I'm looking into saving space in the 4R, so I wouldn't replace my pair of 8's with another pair of 8's. The 6.5's look enticing because I could make two boxes with 2 in each, and that makes for many mounting options on, under or around the dd shelf that I use often.

Ya my first idea was the same mount them under the shelf. You coudl also look at the SQ10's with only a 3" mounting depth, you could put 4 under the shelf firing up

True. I could've used Image Dynamics IDQ10's too, they have a shallow mounting depth, small box space, and incredible SQ.

But, I use the shelf up and down though (down when it's something big or heavy). I need something that is more easily moved.

it's all a pipe dream right now though.... I'll have to settle for my tubes for now. They're decent and easy to move around. Thanx for the info though.

Atomic, if you want to play around with a set of used Eu700 i am going to pull mine out and sell them for $40 shipped. They were used when i got them and were part of a guys 06 iasca set up. But they work great. Thats why i used them in doors cant see them. $40 is what i paid for them and used them for lil over a week. Only bad part was lil bit of silicon around the dustcap. he did it on purpose. I can link you to his thread if you interested.

I am going to put a set of coaxial back there instead.

This way you coudl test and see what they can do.
