I just notice that my cell signal bar drops or weakens when I'm listening to FM radio.And so as my GPS will loss satellite reception, that if I'll mount them about 1 ft radius from the headunit. So I'll just stick the GPS in the windshield - passenger side, and my cellphone in the passenger seat. I re-installed back the factory radio to confirm that its really the Jensen unit thats jamming with my wireless electronics.
I believe its RF interference.
Does anybody experience that in aftermarket headunits?
Aside from mounting my GPS and cellphone away from the unit, what are other solutions to minimize interference?
I don't want to do some trial and error shielding the unit without some suggestions because its really time consuming disassemblying those dash trims.
I love this unit because it has all the basic features like I can fit 5-7 movies or full concerts in a single DVD disc because it reads XViD and my MP3s in an SD card.
