This morning, I stepped into my T4R ready for another day at work. I turned the key to the tune of silence. I can hear the starter clicking, the radio lights up, the lights turn on, along with the a/c fan. I decide to take a look under the hood and everything seems fine. I step back into the driver's seat and replace the key back in the ignition, and the auto-start cranks it right up, not without hesitation though. I take a look at the dash, and bam - I get all the lights you see below (minus the MAINT light, it wants me to change the oil, but it's always had full synthetic, so it can wait a bit, and the TPMS light is on because I recently got some larger tires, and the TPMS wasn't reset). However, all the lights on the right are new to me - I've read on here this can be related to the catalytic converter going bad - BUT one thing I did the night before (after a long day in the sand dunes) was rinse the engine off. I've never had problems with this before, but is it possible that water seeped into somewhere it shouldn't have, and caused a short? I'm just looking for ideas at this point, I'll take it to autozone later today to have the codes read. I'm thinking that it's the water and it just needs to be reset. The lights that are on are the VSC TRAC, VSC OFF, and the VSC active lights. If was sure I probably wouldn't be asking any questions - but I'm not - so that's why I came to the experts.
