My dual projector retrofit |oO/====\Oo|

Ok it's not close to being done, But I got excited so here's some pics
Inner yellow projector is the high beam off of a lexus ls460. I mounted it upside down because the cutoff is upside down from the factory and i wanted to light the ground not the trees. I also tinted the lens yellow.
Outer projector is a bixenon mirimoto mini h1 with a 4300k bulb

The yellow projector might just be wired as an offroad auxiliary light, or I might make it my drl so I can look mad tight jdm yo.

Checking aim while mounted. I got a long way to go. Have to rotate both projectors as the cutoff is crooked. . Still need to figure out what shrouds to go with.

I am digging this. I have always been interested in doing projectors but I dont really like the look of just one projector. I am excited to see how this turns out.

The back of the headlight housing is pretty cut up. I'll probably cover/reinforce the huge holes in the back with some sheet metal.

After alot of cutting I got this shroud to fit

I was originally going to use the Krylon Stain Glass Transparent paint. People have used it with good success.

However I ended up using Duplicolor Metalcast. It is meant to color metal/chrome in different shades, and just so happens to work on clear plastics too. The reason I chose this over the krylon is Duplicolor designed it to paint engine components so it has a 500 deg F heat rating.



I screwed up on the outer shroud. Cut too much off :AK47: so now its trash. That's what I get for working late at night and not thinking clearly. I'll probably go with a different shroud. Maybe something more simple. I think the "X" and "t" designs of both shrouds are clashing.

Actually yeah. That's what I'm doing to the factory housing.
