bought the square tip (as is) at PepBoys Auto parts.
$19.99. It has a bracket inside of the tip that clamps around the pipe. then you slide the chrome piece over the bracket and attach two small screw thru the bottom of the chrome tip into two holes in the bracket.
Install in less than 3 minutes.
Bought the part late monday night and thru it on before I hopped in the truck to go to work daybreak Tuesday morning.

From down south I thought tint would be your 1st mod? I got mine tinted before it was a week old. A must here in sunny Flori-duh.
I did mod my pipe a bit as well but had the stock muff cut out and replaced with a Flow Master. I had the resonator cut out as well. I did the crome tip thing up off to the side - just around $100 total. Only took 30 mon to cut and weld. Much better sound.

well, actually getting the windows tinted was priority #1. Those were done last weekend (15% film on the front pair; even tho it's not legal)
But I don't consider that a "mod". It's a necessity down here!
Actually my tip is polished stainless. With all the heat,moisture,etc down here it should keep it's shine a lot longer than chrome.
So now I'm on to deciding whether I want to do the silver/chrome handle set or the safari/bull bar next.
I'm still up in the air about these "canadian" bug shields. I love the look on most of the 4R's I've seen with them, but I haven't seen a black 4R with one.
Anyone out there have a black 4R with the bug guard on it? If so, post me a pic here.

I think I'm gonna go with my chrome handles first, then the bug guard down the line a bit.
The way i look at it, if I'm going to spend $80 to $100 on an accessory, I get more bang for the buck from the chrome handles than I would from a bug guard that is almost color matched to my rig.
Could see those chrome handles from quite a distance and appreciate them. Whereas with the bug guard, you wouldn't even notice it until you were right up on it.
