Just bought my first 4runner, 5th gen Trail premium with KDSS.

Bought it to replace my Jeep Commander.

LOVING it so far, so glad I chose this over the JKU.

Congrats on the new ride. Mine is my first 4Runner as well. Very pleased here as well. Hard to beat the on road manners and off road capability of the 4Runner! And of course the legendary reliability of a Toyota Truck.

Congrats you will love it. I went to the 4Runner from a stage 2 turbo WRX. And although at first I missed the power I haven’t looked back!!! Absolutely love my 4Runner!!!

Looks good. Had mine for 6 years and 60K miles. No problems, no rattles, no repairs. It has been on a lot of trails some, very rough.

There is a Jeep group going to Brown's Camp Sunday, but I think it's too rough for me.

Congrats!!!! I just picked up my first 4Runner also! Geez I love those wheels and tires! I need to upgrade my stock wheels already. I haven’t even had the truck for 12 hours lol...

Congratulations...! This just may be your new bench mark... I've been driving 4Runners exclusively since 2001, and it's the only vehicle I'd really own now... I just love them.

Haha yeah. I've been reading up on the KDSS a little but will have to actually put it to use to realize its capability!

I test drove A LOT of JKU's and 4R's and the 4R was BY FAR more fun to drive. It also helps it retains a lot of its resale value much like the wrangler.
