My own $20 grill

We have the same low as California regarding the front plates.....I kept my plate frame because it's better than not having one at all. The clear plastic covers are sketchy...you often can't read the plates effectively when they get older. I don't need traffic tickets because a cop can't read my license plate.

BTW, I've looked at the E-bay plate frames...but can't seem to find one for decent price....usually over $20.00 for one??? No thanks!

I feel you there, i just had to settle for the garage plate for where i used to work haha

I did this a little different. I cut the mesh about an inch larger than the opening then folded it back and pop riveted it in. Like it closer to the front. Also made a tag and tinted my turn lenses. $8 for the grille, $9 to do the tag, and $11 for the tint spray. Stoked at how it turned out.

brianemc2_42 used the same material a while back and I've done the same. The gutter stuff works great.

that looks great, did you have clear signals or the stock ones and tint them?

Hard to see but I did it to my lower bumper valance too.

and only partial part of my grille.

and I put some behind my emblem.

I like the look of it but im not liking the metal that I used. It looks too cheap and is too flimsy and bumpy in some areas. I'm going to have to redo it.

That's sweet! My favorite option for the grill. I used the gutter mesh for my upper grill and am planing on doing the lower one.

Stock lenses. Rust Olium lense tint spray. Works well.
