My poor 4Runner...

There is NO WAY that finger nails should scratch deep enough to go right through the clear coat to the base coat or further.

Get the truck polished and the scratches will come right out.

Then go see a therapist! ;)

I don't know about that, I have seen women, when they were pissed off, being capable of some pretty amazing things.

No doubt...but i dont think finger nails are strong enough to press hard agianst the paint/body in order to scratch deeply.

The nail(s) would break IMHO.

I've been able to take out cat-claw scratches with a little wet-sand and highspeed polish in the past.

Hey, it is not just women that go crazy over inantimate objects. My boyfriend (during an argument) threw a short piece of 2x4 into the side of my truck and made a wicked dent in it right on the corner of the fender. Then it bounced off of the truck in into my head. He didn't feel bad about the truck, just my head. I told him my head would heal itself but he's gonna have to pay for the truck.

It is not just men who are in love with their vehicles

I think most of the guys who post here regularly know you have deeper problems then you want to admit with that bf of yours;):
