So it's been about 2 weeks now since I last saw my 4runner....I'm going crazy! I think it's because I don't have a car or anything so I'm stuck at home unless I can get a ride. Ahhhhh! I think I'm going stirr crazy!
My poor baby...

Barbie that sucks!!! I've never lost a vehicle due to an accident, but we did recently lose our 96 Acura Integra GSR to a hail storm, which is why we now have a new 4Runner. We LOVED that friggin car, it was part of our family. 133K miles on the FACTORY brakes, two radiators, and a clutch, is all I ever did to the thing other than basic maintenance. Ran perfect when we dropped it off. It literally looked like a black golf ball with a busted windshield. Wife and I cried as we cleaned it out at the dealership to drive the T4R home.
And my 2000 Ram has been in the body shop over a month now due to the same hail damage. Had to send it back on Monday when they said it was done and I picked it up, got it home and looked it over, and every panel they painted has flaws all over it, from wavy body work to pits in the paint, to overspray on my tail lights, sanding marks on adjacent panels, etc. So, it went back to the body shop Monday (Last friday was a month since we dropped it off) and they gave me a POS Ford Focus to drive. What a joke, though it does do a hell of an E-brake slide!!!
Maybe some of my plight will make you feel better to know other's feel your pain as well and understand. It's odd how, to most, a machine solely for transportation, somehow wins your heart and becomes like a family member. Maybe because you depend on it as much as any family member. Or alot of good memories are associated around it.
But if you can swing it, go 4Runner again, no prius. Once you've had the 4runner experience, nothing else will ever measure up!!!! :biggrin2:
