Ok so Ive been checking out T4R since Feb when I bought my Runner and now its time to put up my progress 
First off let's introduce! My name is Ashley- pictured below.

I live right outside of Eugene,Oregon. I just got married to my BF Rex of 6 years. In VEGAS. By ELVIS. Yesssss WINNING!
I'm learning a lot myself but I couldnt have done half the things I've done w/out his help! (OK, enough cheesy lovey shout-outs) I'm prob not your typical girl- I think too much like a boy sometimes. I LOVE toys- I NEED toys. Lots and lots of motorized dangerous ones
Im a mama to two Labs (one chocolate, one yellow) named Owen and Bruce- they are my stinkies!
Again let's introduce!
Bruce: he's almost 3, likes long walks on the beach and is obsessed w/ the "ball"
Owen: he is almost 2, loves food, his Mama,sleeping in and again food.
I used to own a 97 4Runner about 8 years ago but had temp insanity and this year I decided to go back to the 4runner- both of my 97's have been the best vehicles I have ever had..
So in Feb I found my current one...

All stock. The previous owner kept records on EVERYTHING. He even put a note in the manual for the gas light---> "gas light on= 3.2 gallons left in tank. Bahahaha good to know
Here is a pic straight from the car lot-
First thing I did was put a stereo in it- like I said, the truck was stock and I don't own one single cassette :/ haha Ive never been into the "bumpin systems" but this time around I wanted to splurge a bit... My main priority in my new stereo...wait for it...an ipod hookup. Haha yeah go big or go home eh!?! That was all I needed to make me happy. Needless to say, I got sucked into the stereo/bass/subwoofer/amp game..just a little. The guy @ the stereo store made my eyes glaze over when I told what I wanted "I need a stereo w/ ipod hookups, a bit of bass.." I got confused real quick but I did walk out w/ a Kenwood stereo- so far Im lovin' it
And of course since I didnt know an effin thing about stereos I bought a boxed 10' Sub and a cheap amp behind the guys back @ the Stereo store- I figure throw it together and if it sounds like ****, then I'll educate myself on ohms and blah,blah,blah (no disrespect to the electronics world either, just sayin...)
Cheapy Sony Explode in box- $25 off CL...Mounted the amp under drivers seat and blue carpet is just cuz I got my stinkies..aka my two dogs
So far, its what I wanted and I think it sounds good!!
I then bought some clear corner and side markers..
When I bought the truck in Feb, it had ugly stock wheels but the tires were practically brand new and bigger than stock (265/75/16) so my main objective was to find some wheels I was happy with..
I have been checking out CL and the forums for months now until FINALLY I found a set the were black powdercoated Eagle Alloys,
16 x8's (this was kinda a ***** to find) and all 4 for $200. They were never mounted because the guy sold the truck he was going to put them and had no use for them- winning!
I did end up having to buy some 1.25 spacers to fit the wheels on the front and now Im lovin the slightly wider stance so Im going to get some for the back as well-
And since the center caps were chrome, when I first put the wheels on, the damn thing looked like a cop car...not the look I was going for. Enter the famed Plasti-dip.

I also decided to do the lug nuts just because, although its obvious why it prob wont hold up haha
Thanks to all the dudes raving over and over about this stuff- it kicks ass!!
I also took the running boards off- wow big diff. I never knew how sissified my truck looked-
So my short soon to be lonnnnng list of I wants are: (in no particular order)
Roof Rack w/ snowboard racks
Bug guard
Rain Guards/Visors
Tinted front windows
Fender Flares
Nerf Bars or Rock Sliders!
And of course a lift w/ some beefier tires..some day.
Ok now Im done rambling-
