My Runner ---HELP

Hey all. I'm about to become a lot more active here! I have had a 96 limited for about a year now. I put 20,000 miles on it. so im up to 180,000. I custom installed fog lights behind the grille. I also put a brand new set of BFG All Terrains 265/75/R16's on it. I just ordered an Old Man Emu lift and a Go Rhino 3000 series step guard. When they get here, there will be lots of install pics. Tell me what you guys think!

IMO It's' really worth the money to replace the orange side and blinker lights with clear lenses. Really makes a for a clean finish. I really like the green 4runners. Nice ride. :D

And I would also like to know how the old man emo install goes. All the in's and outs. I'm considering doing that to mine when i get some money.

Haha yeah X2 on that, get rid of those ornage corners & blinkers and get you some clean clear lenses! You will be amazed how much nicer it will make your 4Runner look!

there goes Fo_SheeZy with his clear corners again! ha thats too funny!

so basicly swatman1331 you want your 4runner to look like mine

And then go to burtman and get the chrome bulbs that blink orange. That look really clean and when they blink they fill up the whole lens with orange. But you can't see any orange when they are not on. Super sweet.

Nice solid lookin truck!

I agree with the clear corners. It'll make your ride look a lot cleaner. I used to have a black 3rd gen. It had dark gray bumpers on it, so I blacked out the grill and put on some clear corners... made a load of difference.

On my current T4R, I was going for a different look, so I painted my corners, n front and rear signals amber, and took off all my exterior options (roof rack, tow hitch, wind deflector and mud guards)

2 totally different looks, but they both came out lookin good in their own ways.

Fo_Sheezy cant see a 4runner without clears and not tell them to get them! Haha. It does look better with them on though. IMO

i love this site! what a great family!

yeah i havnt really seen a 4runner with clears so im staying with mine for now.... plus all the money is going to the mustang

That's an awesome mustang you got, shootmymime. That's where all my money would be going if i had it too.

I used to have a 95 5.0, and I'm lookin to get myself a 65 or 66 sometime soon.

Hey...so My lift came yesterday!! I'll be putting it next week. no news on the puch guard i ordered :(. I really psyched about the lift though. Old Man Emu 890's in the back, and 881's in the front.

AHH...so I got my lift, It's sitting in the garage. I was planning to put it on this week. BUT, I was at work the other day, and I noticed that my engine was making an awful noise. If I cold start, my runner makes this clicking noise. it seemed to be most noticeable after cold start, or from 1500-3000 rpm. I do have an oil problem, leaking or burning, so i have been checking that often. I thought I may have been low, so i checked it, and sure enough it needed about a quart. I added it, but the sound persists. It does seem to be a little less noisy, but I dont want to risk it. Anyone have this problem, or have any ideas?? I dont want to put the lift on until after I fix this.
