Thats sad, but a pretty good way for the LBJ to go, cause then insurance will cover it. I dont want him wrecked, i'd rather sell.

Nice work.....question though:
Do you wish you did the Tundra Upgrade??? I had the same issues you did when I replaced my rotors....Issue with the pins, found out my calipers were bad (2 of my pistons were rotted!).
I ended up just replacing with Stock replacement parts, and find the truck stops pretty well....even when towing and fully loaded..........
Some days I wish I had....just to say I upgraded....other days I'm like....whatever....it works!

No, i dont because of all the sh*t that went wrong, by the time i found out the calipers were bad i had rotors in and pads in the garage and i had another set on order that i had shipped to my house so i could return them to the store, (cause i bought a set full price at the store to get them sooner) so i could get the rotors i needed ASAP and buy the ones online to get the good price and then return the ones i bought online with the reciept for the ones i bought in the store. So if i bought ANOTHER set of rotors i dunno if i had enough money to cover it, as i was not paid yet (long a$$$ pay period) and i wanted the truck back on the road. And i am not going to 33's and my father said it wasnt worth it and i didnt want to listen to him whine about it.
Driven about 50 miles miles and braking is normal with no shaking, and im pretty happy.
I may regret it at one point, but then i remember all the crap that was involved then im like its justified.

Update on the brakes, the calipers Have no leaks and grab great, the pads and rotors haven't warped yet, I'm about 1k miles into them.
I also just did 200 miles to just above the half hash, which is like 20-21 mpg.
I also changed my fuel filter again, and again it was almost fully clogged and it has regained some power and efficiency from it!
Also greased up all my zerks, Rusty is enjoying all of this maintenance...

So, About 2 weeks before i left for school i got some 265/70 Firestone Destination LE's put on, i wasnt the happiest camper when i found out they were All seasons and not All Terrains, but still new tires were new tires.
Fast forward to today, we have been raining for almost 2 days straight and the roads are flooding, so i go out in the truck, i gradually take corners faster and faster to lose grip and i tug the wheel hard and give it a bootfull and the truck wouldnt give out, then i see this 60ft long puddle covering the road and i decide to push it through at 35 to see if i would get it to go there, but i push it through and there wasnt the slightest wiggle, and no hydroplanning at all, i was able to navigate the truck safely anywhere i wanted today during these storms.
These are hands down the best tire if have ever driven in the rain, better than my old Cooper ATR's when they were new, the Stock Disco tires, the Current Disco tires, any of the crap on the jetta, and my sisters cars, and it was even better than the Nitto's on my old defender, i was absolutley floored at how well they handled themselves.
I hope they do well in snow.

Ok so if any of you aren't like me and actually watch the news, i bet atleast some of you will have heard of the massive flooding in Binghamton NY, and upper PA due to the heavy rains of august and 2 massive tropical storms that came through in the past week. We are told that is a gonna be called a "1000" year flood, but there is nothing official, the flood wall was inches from giving in, and i am pretty sure in 1 spot it did give in but i cannot confirm this. Well i actually go to college in Binghamton, NY and thought it would be a great idea to go out in prime of the Flooding in Binghamton. And being the "attempting to be semi-pro photographer" that i am, i grabbed my Nikon and snapped some pics, some of which are in the local papers:
Might i add we had countless Humvee's up here, we had a BlackHawk landing on campus, i saw 2 Chinook's some Huey's and a Couple blackhawks flying around the sky, DEP came from all over the state in their (useless gasoline) F250's but they brought some swamp boats to get around on. In my whole 19 year life this was the worst tragedy i have witnessed and the runner up happened a week prior when i was at home and the power was out for a week with over 300 out of the 500 roads in my town Blocked by downed trees and power lines.

Yeah campus never closed, its a big campus, our events center like the B ball court was filled with ppl.

Thanks, luckily neither i, nor my family or friends were affected by it.
So today my battery has been on its way out the past 2 weeks and with winter coming up i really dont want to find out when i am parked on level ground in the middle of 2 feet of snow that my battery is dead and i have no way to bump start it, so i went to my favorite aftermarket car parts website and bought a battery.
I got a 700CCA Group 24F Autocraft Gold battery with a 3 year warrenty for $59 plus tax, i thought it was a good deal considering before coupon codes and discounts it was $100. I will let everyone know how i like it as the winter passes through.
UPDATE ON BRAKES: I love my Wagner Rotors and Pads and my Rebuilt Calipers all from Advance Auto, they are quiet, have lifetime warrenty, have OEM style stopping power, and are a great product, one minor thing is that i never painted the calipers so they turned orange from surface rust, that is the only thing.
