the Pro has less than 2000 miles on her, unless I royally screw up removing them I think they will be just fine for your work. I'll send you photos via PM when I get them pulled off.

I know there's been a ton of talk about mild lift options for the TRD Pro without giving up the suspension. I did a lot of research and considered doing the 2/2, Toytec, etc. In the end I had Jason Burtman at Burtman Industries make a 1.5/1 spacer lift which I think turned out perfectly. I also threw on some 275/70/17 BFG AT KO2s. There isn't any rubbing and I didn't have to do fender liner mod, cutting or anything else to make them fit.

I think the truck now sits perfect for an everyday vehicle, looks much more aggressive than stock, and also gives me a bit better clearance/approach angles for when I'm out on the dirt.

There is absolutely no change in ride quality, body lean, etc. from the stock setup which was a concern of mine since I really do like how it drives stock. It's a tiny bit bumpier (I'm sure because they are now LT tires) but it's so minimal that it doesn't really make a difference. If you're on the fence about what to do, I think this is a great option.

I think i just found the perfect mild lift. Thanks for posting Bobby! I have a question/favor for you. Can you measure from ground to the tip of your attenna? How many inches is that? I am pretty sure im in the clear even with my gobi rack. I still would like to see. Thanks again and nice Pro you have!

I’ve heard those with ToyTec 2” lift are experiencing rougher ride, any feedback is appreciated.

I was able to perform a self install in my garage with ease. The first thing I did after install was to take a test drive and check the ride quality. Honestly, I am not able to tell any difference from the stock ride. Very glad I chose the 2/1 and super pleased with the install and ride.

I'm So Impatient !!!!

I have used ToyTec, BOSS lifts on a 4th gen in the past and really didn't like the ride. I currently own a 5th gen Cement PRO that i really don't want to get rid of my OEM set up/ ride quality.
So after some research and looking at some Mid lift builds, I went with the Burtman 2/1.5 (Ordered yesterday)and will install Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17.
Looking to post pic's before and after as soon as i can..

I really want to go with this but I mention it on the 4Runner Facebook groups and basically get ripped apart. I won’t be off-roading and it’s simply for aesthetics. Everyone is saying don’t put a cheap part on an expensive car. They are saying kings or icon. Then I’m like okay, I just paid an extra 4-5k for the stock suspension, now I’m gonna rip it out and pay ANOTHER 3-5k for a whole new suspension system. And it won’t get used off road at all. Obviously the ideal thing is to do this, and I really don’t want to screw up my ride with spacers, help!

They're not the philosophically pure solution, and they aren't the best technical solution. But, they get the job done. And they're way cheaper than a full suspension lift. Do whatever you like. I'm no expert, but I doubt it. I ran a 1" Cornfed spacer in the rear when I had Bilstein 5100s set at .85 in the front. My guess is the bigger the spacer, the more consequences that will potentially follow. Here's a nice little article on the interwebs:

Only you can decide what works for you. You have such a nice stock ride. Why not just enjoy it for a couple of years as-is?

A small spacer lift will be just fine for everyday A to B transportation. Plenty of people even wheel pretty decently with spacer lifts. Sure a setup from King, Fox, Icon, etc. . . are more advanced, but for what you're looking for they're a waste of money. I'm trying to justify Kings for myself right now since mine sees a fair amount of dirt and rocks, but realistically the 6112's and 2" Icon springs did me just fine on my last 5th gen. The money saved would go a LONG way towards a new steel rear bumper. 4k versus $1,300.
