My Vanity Plate has arrived and some classic Taco guys are going to be pissed.

I've wanted to get a vanity plate for the last 4 years I've had my runner but I just couldn't pull the trigger on it. My randomly issued plate had USA in it which was pretty cool so i kept them. I originally was going to get the 9/11 memorial flag plate but then California announced they were bringing back the 1960's style black plates and i was sold. I have a blue plate from the 70's on another one of my cars so i thought the black would be awesome on my Runner. After playing around for while on the plate builder I had found lots of cool combinations of incorporating 4runner with trail etc. Then just messing around i put in YOTA and holy crap it was available. Im sure someone had it on their 1980's truck and let it lapse. So i decided i can't wait and pulled the trigger. Its been long 4 months waiting for it but it finally arrived today.

Out with the old...

I Put a plastic plate cover over it to protect it, will see how long It lasts before the Police take notice.






I may try to pick up some of the newer style LED lights to complete the dark look in back. Also i'm very tempted to find an 80's Toyota truck to go with my plate.

No we don't. Knowing shit like that is important to some people - sort of like knowing the names of all the characters on Big Bang Theory. To others, it's trivial or even annoying.

Looks good!, I just ordered a set of the black plates 6 weeks ago. Still waiting for them to come in.
