mysterious Squeak/creek from front end, Help !

Guys I have a creek / squeak sound coming from my front end. Its loud and its really annoying and embarrassing .

Its most noticeable when I turn the wheel (either direction ) .
Even if Im parked in place and turn the wheel the noise is pretty loud...

So far I changed out my front sway bar bushings with new rubber ones and never-seeze coated them well during the install to make sure they dont squeek, I also thought it was my daystar lift bushings so I sprayed them up with grease . But that didnt help, plus the springs/ struts dont move much when im just parked in place.

Can someone point me in the right direction , Ive run out of ideas ..

I have the same exact thing going on. I suspect it's the steering rack bushings, so I ordered Energy Suspension steering rack bushings & also the front sway bar bushings. They've been sitting in my garage for a couple weeks, and I'm not sure when I'll get to installing them. Interested to see what people think it is.

I have not, after doing some searching tonight I'm going to try that tomorrow. Just not sure if I should use spray white lithium or just spray silicone.
Wish there was some way to Really get the grease In there without taking it apart..

Does it do it "only" when turning?
If it's when your turning, has to be something that is turning too. A dry joint in the front end?
Check both upper and lower ball joints, outer tie rods.

It does it on bumps but not as loud. Its most noticeable when just turning the wheel .

What can I put on the upper and lower ball joints , grease ? never seeze ? spray silicone ? (must I add I just replaced all of these exactly one year ago )..

I had the same problem and my mechanic jut tightened my power stearing and it was solved.

Upper strut mount bushing?

Use spray silicone, spray the hell out of the area.
Just do one at a time, like first the upper arm bushings to see if the noise stopped, just so it's easier to narrow down where the noise is coming from.

Have someone sit in truck while your under it looking and feeling each ball joint,tie rod.

You can buy an grease injection needle to grease the ball joints to see if the noise goes away, but your going to have a small hole in the boot after doing it..

New ball joints - did you use Toyota ones or aftermarket ones? maybe the joint are already dry???

I had the same problem. And it is really ANOYING!!! Oddly enough it stopped for a short time after some hard wheeling. I was told by another Toyota owner it was my UCA. The poly bushing needed grease. It was noticable at slow speeds and when stopped. It's starting to come back a little. So, I'm going to grease the UCA bushings first. If it continues I'll check the power steering rack bushings. I'm gonna grease them today.

I didn't use toyota joints when I did the replacement...

But thanks for your help, I just got back from advanced auto and bought a grease gun injection needle. I think this will do the trick ! I didn't even think about something like this existing I'm glad you suggested it.

Do you think ill be able to get the needle into the a-arm bushings aswell ?

I may be way off here but, have you checked power steering fluid? Level? Color? Check all your belts are tight?

or is it not that kind of squeak?

That would make sense if it happens just from turning the wheel.

UPDATE:

Problem fixed, I used the grease needle on all my joints, I was pretty pumped about it but It didnt fix the problem.....

After some more trial and error , I noticed the one thing I didnt touch yet was the one main rack bushing. I only did the round one on the passanger side.


Well it turns out , thats the cuprit. I sprayed it wil silicone grease and the noise is 98% gone !!

Tomoro I plan on refilling my grease gun and shooting a ton in there, and I might just repalce the bushing, But right now I just want a truck that doesnt sound like a wheel barrel

Similar issue. Constant squeak in front on bumps. Clunk sometimes when turning, braking or taking off. Replaced struts, upper & lower control arms, inner & outer tie rods and sway links. All lubed and tight. I have a 2015 SR5 2WD. Please help! This is making me crazy and braking my bank account.

I wonder if body support rubber could be worn?

Mine has a squeak over minor bumps, even with me just getting into it, haha. But I can see some bushings nearly gone, so most likely they are the problem.

Gonna dig deeper coming weekends.
