A small dent in hood is better then having, mice or rats chewing up your wiring.

are you having this problem ?

My grandpa has a 4th gen and was having this issue multiple times about 5 years ago... numerous trips to the dealer - turns out i guess the factory uses peanut oil to lube ac lines and other things on assembly and the leftover oil was attracting the mice..

After 3 separate incidents they stopped chewing through stuff

I had rodents chew through the some wiring in my engine bay.

My mom has a 4th gen 4unner as well and had squirrels chew through her fuel line coming off the fuel tank. Had to drop the tank to fix then a few weeks later they chewed through the fuel pump wires.

Arrgh... I HATE living with an oak tree over my driveway. Everytime an acorn hits sheet metal I cringe. Thankfully they are just the small ones that don't do any damage, just sound terrible...

Happened years ago to my old Nissan Maxima, while it was parked in the garage.
Was told Soy was being used in the wire insulation on many autos and trucks.
