I did a search but didn't find anything, hope this isn't a common thing.

There is a bulb, looks like 194/parking light sized, in my '06-'09 tail light housing that never seems to go off. Not sure how long it's been that way but I just noticed it last night.

The light is on in this picture, I first noticed it there but thought it was a reflection or due to the door being open.

Anyone know why this is on and doesn't go off? Is it normal?

Can anyone confirm that this is or is not a parking light when functioning properly?

its part of the parking and stop. let me check for sure, but it should light up with parking lights.

nice.. Have upgraded to LEDs also and gawd they are so much better.. Need to get a pic like yours. looks very cool..:roll:

It's definitely a parking light but it's really odd that it's on all time. Let us know if you get to the bottom of it.
