Not sure if I made a build thread on t4r? Oh well here we go.:artist2:

Started off as a 2005 T4R SR5 2wd from the dealer stock as can be.

Then came my street only stint with 20 inch wheels and Toyo low pro tires.


Then in late 2005 I got my first taste of offroading with my Runner and I was hooked. And I started the modding with a spacer lift, AT tires and 17 inch wheels.

Since this point I have tried various suspensions from OME to SAW, wheels, tires and more to finally arrive at my current build.

Then the hardcore changes came including full suspension, rear locker, full 4wd IFS conversion with twin stick FJ case, front & rear bumper, rock slider and much more to get to the current point.

looks good. I bet the 4wd conversion was pretty spendy. Would love to see your center console with the twinstick fj case! I hate electronic actuators.

Actually if you source out your own parts, all together it is not as bad as people think.:thumb3:

I tried 2 styles of roof racks both made by BajaRack, the first was a Mule model and best for my use is the Expo Custom rack.

With suspensions I started with a Daystar Spacer lift then when to a OME lfit which for me was too stiff on road but decent off road. Then I tried my first coil over setup from SwayAway which was okay for my needs but I wanted more.

My final suspension I went with is the Overland Warehouse Radflo 2.5 setup, which I have taken in all terrains and it has handled it all.
 
They make it now but it's not listed on their site, at the time I had them custom make the height and length for mine which was not available yet to the public.

Just call them to order the expo rack for the 4th gen, talk to Sergio.

You've done a great job putting it all together; a great looking rig; it looks ready for anything.

Do you find the loss of visibility out the back bothersome?

Actually if may look like the tire blocks a lot but it really doesn't. I will take a pic of the inside view and post later.
 
More pictures! What did you do with the 4wd switch after the conversion? Just leave it in?

:hungry: Hmm I'm thinking a tweeter for the cb might be sweet! If you don't mind my asking, what was the actual cost of it? And how's it held up/ worked thus far?

There was no 4wd switch since my Runner was a 2wd model.
