Mytoy4 Build Thread

Great thread!
Read the whole thing, since I didn't have much to do this evening.
I'm thinking about getting that lift, can't decide between 18 or 20s.

I'm waiting for my grille to come in & gonna order some led lights for the inside & license plate lights. Plus, I already tinted it, looks much better after you put darker window tint on it.

Thanks, Jordan! Sometimes the little things make big differences. You'll become addicted and it'll never end ;):

I just read through this whole thing, and I really like your 4Runner. I did want to ask how much the UCA's helped? If I can get my motorcycle sold I want to order the Toytec ultimate lift for mine. Then after more reading discovered that at 3" inches of lift UCA's are recommend. I want to do mine right the first time because this is our everyday family ride. Gotta be right so that Momma is happy.

Thank you ☺️ Yes, I definitely felt like they helped, especially after putting the larger tires on. Made the ride a tad smoother and helped a bit with gas mileage, just by getting it into alignment. Once said and done its surely not your smooth ride

NooooOOooooOooo!!!
Sorry to see that! Hope you can get it fixed quickly. As stated, I would go for the offroad bumper, it's cheaper than stock replacement. lol

Don't feel bad Teri, I had a fender bender recently (cost about $6k to fix, deduct was $500). Stupid person in front of me slammed on their brakes. I was too close to them. BANG. Sucks.

Hood wouldn't open, passenger door scraped when opening it against the front fender. The radiator was even dented (but not punctured, it was replaced anyway). These RAVs are not as strong as I thought.

This is my brother's RAV.

I want to say your hood scoop was put on after you bought it. If you have a receipt, I'm sure you can have that replaced. When a valet crunched my bumper last year, he took out my '06 LED tail light as well. I explained to them (body shop) they were OEM and were replaced!! Insurance OK'ed it. The Satoshi, well, that's probably another story. Glad to see you are ok.

sorry to see the fate of the 4runner terri I hopes it not to banged up!

hope everything works quickly for you, I hate these situations

sucks to hear/see :(

Thanks, All :)
Yes, I'm okay. Sore back and neck but I'll be fine soon, I'm sure. Very fortunate for so many things though. That the gentleman I hit was so very kind and unharmed.

As many of you may know, my husband is a collision technician. He's the one who does all my body work when the wife screws up :hiding:

We'll put it through insurance, including the sport hood, satoshi and painted grille. He'll do it all on the side, so we actually come out ahead.
That's all good and fine. The only thing that really bums me out is that it's never been in an accident. I haven't had an accident since I was a teen (over 20 years ago). I really don't want a front end collision on it's record :(
