*******************************************************************************************

I'm not really sure if my mods are classified as a 'build' but I thought I'd rather do this as well then posting several individual questions.

I currently own a 2007 natural white V6 SR5 with 3rd row seating. I purchased it in 2007 with 9K miles. I bought it with all stock and over the past few years have done just a few minor mods.
I'm having several things done to it now and as I go I've had a few questions.

I'll post up some pictures of what it looked like when I bought it and what all I've done so far... followed by a couple questions.

Here's what it looked like the day I bought it.

I've had the mirrors, grill and running boards painted white. I added the spoiler. I had the front windows tinted to 20% I've had the hood repainted due to the previous owner highway rock chips.

I am having the grill repainted, due to highway rock chips. The back hatch molding is going to be removed and that area repainted due to rust.
Then it's scheduled to be detailed and waxed.
Once the paint has cured I will be putting on a clear bra and a bug deflector.
I'm also looking for new wheels and tires. It still has stock wheels, 17". I really would like to put 18s on.

I'd go with the limited rims as well. I'm sure you can find a used set in the classifieds section of T4R.org or craigslist.

I like the spokes on the second one but the lip on the first one. Either way if you like them both, I don' think you could go wrong.. Clean looking truck you have friend, keep the Mods coming:)

I should have added too.. if you have suggestions of wheels that would work, please let me know. I find it quite hard to find something that looks good on the 4runners. I personally don't care for chrome or black though.

Before you pay for this out of pocket. Take it to the dealer and let them have a look. There's a TSB for this on 4Runners of a certain production/VIN range.

Definitely the oem Limited wheels. Plus with oem you know that the backspacing and offset is perfect and you wont have any rubbing issues.

I really like these, I know you dont like black and chrome, these kind of remind me of Gaterose color..

This is good to know, I will check into this. All of my body work is done by my husband, who's an auto body technician. Its worth checking into though. He thought that I might have damaged that area when I opened the hatch against the garage door.

This is true, I'm having to do a lot of research to find out the correct offset. Plus I really do like wheels that have the Toyota emblem.

Thanks, Sparky. I actually do like these, I think its more the jet black that I don't care for. These aren't to bad. Again with aftermarket wheels I have to find the proper offset which slows me down in the purchase.

I checked the website, there are 3 different offsets for these wheels with our bolt pattern, Tirerack gives the correct offset equal to stock, not sure which one it is, I'm sure if u call they can tell you. Go ahead and buy them so I know what they look like before I order ;-). Lol..

I have seen several threads with offset explanation and descriptions of what ours are. Just don't know where they are, I'm on my phone now, so its hard too look.
