Too bad your not closer. I'd trade you my limited wheels for your SR5 wheels.

Are you freaking kidding me?! I was looking for limited and as impatient as I was I started looking for others. I ended up with sport, which I really like.
I'll be selling the ones on my truck soon. My new wheels should be here in a week or two.

I need to slow down abit. I bought my runner 2 weeks ago and I've already dumped a grand in it and bought new snow skis and gear. My wife will kill me if I hit her up for wheels. I'm already trying to figure out how I'm gonna pay for the tires! But keep me in mind, I'm definitly interested in the wheels, 17"s right?

I'm not asking much for them. They have a couple pit marks in themm - just from Nebraska snow and salt roads, but still in good condition. The tires are junk. I'll be dumping those and getting new ones.
Yes, they're 17's. I'll probably ask $250 plus shipping for all 5.

Ok, I'm very interested. Let me know when you are ready and I'm sure it wont be a problem.

Will do! Just a quick question and no offense, but why do you like these better than the limited. I always thought they were kind of boring.

Are you freaking kidding me?! I thought you were focused on just the Limited! I have 5 wheels from my Sport that I was looking to sell. :(

I'm sorry, Dave! I actually was set on limited and then I found some sport for sale. I debated back and forth because I really liked the sport, but wanted to hold out for limited. I went to Target over my lunch hour the other day and noticed how nice these limited looked on a runner in the lot and as I got closer I realized they were sport. That made my mind up to go with the sport I found so I bought them that night.

No problem. It's not like I'm actively trying to sell them. I've never even put them up in the Classifieds.:D Your build is coming along nicely and I'm enjoying the updates as you go along. Your Runner is going to be practically brand new by the time you finish.

Thank you, I appreciate that. It's been a long time coming. I just have a few more things to do and I'll stop for a while.
I looked at your album and noticed your runner used to look like mine. Holy cow, it's a beast now. I'm more in it for the look, not saying you're not, but I don't do off roading or lifts. Just want it to look a bit more sporty.
I really enjoy my runner and I'm paranoid about every spot it gets... so it makes me cringe to see people running them through rocks and mud :sobbing:

Thank you :) You know something I didn't notice is if you look at the 'before grill' picture you can actually see how the paint turned a dull off white color. It wasn't as noticeable but after having it repainted I really notice the difference. Now I'm paranoid it's going to get chipped again. Hoping the bug deflector will help. Putting that on tonight.

I love the look of the Limited wheels but I have a better tire selection for 17"s. and they cost a little less. Plus I think the added sidewall will perform better offroad.

Yep...brothers from another mother. Then one went to the dark side.:AK47:

Funny, that's what my wife says. She doesn't go 4wheeling with me anymore for that very reason. :cry2: Off-roading has it's risks but the pay-offs in fun factor, camaraderie and beautiful country make it well worth it. Check out this thread from one of our recent trips. Big Bear 2011. It had it's share of carnage but it was a blast. :)

Those are some great shots! I especially like the night ones. It does look like a lot of fun but in someone elses runner. I could do some off roading here I guess, wouldn't even need to lift it since all we've got are corn fields :lookout:

Are the sport wheels 17" also? What size tires you going with and are you gonna lift it? BTW I love white runners. Mine is silver and its really growing on me but I've always loved white. I have a pic of dawg4runner's 4runner as my wallpaper! Its what my runner wants to be when it grows up! :thumb3: Its the pic from the front over some rocky terrain.
