Thanks! I actually got it off Amazon. If I remember right, it was about $35.

Are you sure? I thought that as well when I got mine. It's very flexible. I've driven in heavy rain and snow and up to 80 miles an hour and it's held up nicely. No issues at all.

Hey Terri!
Quick to questions. I saw that when you cut out the middle parts in the grill you did now fiber glass and bondo, those areas which looked thinner on the side of the grill and second question i see some people use screws to put the mesh and grill together, you sed hot gun. Can you explain that process a little bit more in detail, please.

Sorry Alex, not sure how I missed this!
You're correct. I did not use any bondo on my grille, nor did I use screws. It was all done using automotive glue which is very strong. I didn't feel it needed the extra support from the screws and I really never understood why one would use bondo on the sides.
I would say if you can't get access to automotive glue, then I would go with the screws.

Thanks for reply, i'm just wondering if i would have to modify the grill, because i have the 05 model, like Matt did, just wondeing if it will be still strong. But thanks for the info. I really like how you put the grill and mesh together looks very very clean.

Excellent work on this grill!
I've done many similar ones for the Tacoma and I refer to this style grill as a '"flush mount" grill mod.
A Satoshi Grill mod as I know it refers to creating a resessed surround and mounting the mesh further back - similar to the grill in my sig pic.
These 4R grills are very different than what i am used to dealing with on the Taco side.
Thanks for the detailed pics as well - I'll be taking on one of these Runner grills one day I'm sure.

I hope so I've been bugging the hell out of you about it cause i would kill for the grill in your sig haha, good to see you still on t4r Homer. If only it was this easy for the 03-05s. Guess ill have to do a whole face lift and be out hundreds of doll hairs
