Does anyone know the difference in these part numbers:

N-Fab T1464R Nerf Step Bar Wheel To Wheel $329

vs.

N-Fab T1064R Nerf Step Bar Wheel To Wheel $309

Which one is the right fit for the TRDpro? I'm assuming both but don't understand the difference in $$$.

T1464R is for the 2014+ models and fit the trail editions and SR5s

T1064R is for 2010-2013 trail editions only.

Simply checked their website for this information...

No sh!t. That's why buyer beware brah. Btw, when you input your vehicle's year, make, and model, Amazon verifies whether the sh!t fits your vehicle. Apparently both nfab models fit '14+. You're a genius!

Yeah brah, I'm the one that couldn't figure it out by searching the manufacture website and had to post the question here.

Would both models bolt onto your 4Runner, yes. however, you may have to trim the rocker panel depending on your model year/trim.

so amazon isn't wrong, they're just leaving out certain information.

They are the same

I have a 14TEP; I called NFAB months ago with the same question.They stated these models are 100% identical. They only have different model numbers because toyota SR5 rocker trim became the same as the Trail in 2014. So for 2010-13 SR5 owners it is critical to know that this won't for their vehicle... Neither one of them.

Appreciate it. Conclusion: if you want to save roughly up to $30 (Amazon) get the '10-'13 model for your TRDpro or '14 TE. It can be had for $205-$212 with free shipping otherwise you will pay $230 for '14+ models. Both models will not fit sr5 models as quoted above.
 
Getting even a better deal

As an FYI, if you're looking at the distributor in GA on Amazon... you can reach out to them directly (without Amazon) and potentially get them even cheaper. I don't order products over about $200 on Amazon anymore now that they have a HUGE warehouse in FL and charge sales tax.

I got my '10-'13 model NFAB Nerf bars for my '14 TEP and no sales tax by going direct to the company. Believe or not... most companies on Amazon will sell directly to you if you contact them... and you don't pay sales tax if you happen to be in a state with an Amazon presence.

And yes... why on earth someone would pay for the '14 year model with this knowledge is anyone's guess. I've yet to see the later model from NFAB ever be as cheap as the same product... with an older SKU.

No modifications. Took me 20 minutes to install. You can either use your existing bolts or the ones supplied. Will not fit sr5 and limited models.
