having issues finding a match for this part. all of my issues have point to replacing this part but i cant find it or the name of it.

What does it do and where does it live? Year?
 
I think the part number I posted in that other thread of yours is the correct one for it. Looks like it too in the diagram. Should have a part number on it somewhere too :-)

If that's the shift lock control switch, that just keeps you from removing the key unless the shifter is in the Park position. It doesn't affect starting at all.

The switch that allows the starter solenoid to get power is the Neutral Start Switch, PN 84540-30270

You'll want to adjust, clean and test before just replacing... it is generally a reliable part.
