Never named a car before but recently bought a new 2014 4runner.

I made the mistake of reading review comments on various car sites before and after the sale. Man the Ford and Jeep crowed just LOVE being hateful to the front end! One guy was on about how it looked like a warthog (I guess the fog light "vents" look like tusks?)

Anyway, I actually thought that was kind of awesome so I named mine "Warthog" and put a sticker across the top of the front window saying so.

Unfortunately for me t4r already had a user named "Warthog" (Actually there seem to be more than one) so I went for "2014 Warthog" instead.

All 3 of others had names as well.

Frank.....the wife has a penchant for naming inanimate objects with simple names. A masters in accounting and we roll around in Frank 4runnner, Lexi Lexus, or Matthew Mazda

First vehicle I named was an 05 Jeep TJ, dubbed "Hobbes" (my partner in crime, like in the comic strip).

Next was the 99 Chili Pepper Red Jeep TJ, which I called "Lady Redbush" (shamelessly taken from a Family Guy episode).

With 2 Japanese vehicles in the garage, the wife and I did more research to give them names that respected their ancestry yet fit their respective "personalities" and how we feel about them.

Her G37 Convertible is named "Amaterasu" (Goddess of the sun), and my 4Runner is "Uzume" (Goddess of mirth and revelry).
