YES i definitely thanked my parents! I was so surprised. The nice thing about the nautical blue metallic color is the rareness of it which makes people like the car even more

This is the only one I could find of my '08 clean. Does anyone else have a terrible time keeping the wheels clean? More so than any other vehicle I've had. Mundane surroundings compared to Wadle5. This color is seldom seen in my area. This shot makes its nose look big.

Blue is the color of our next 4runner, unless of course Toyota brings the LC Amazon green metallic color to the 4Runner , then we'll have to go with that.

So I was to pick up my new Trail Premium in nautical blue in the next 2 weeks. I have already got the group buy bug and have a GOBI rack w/ all manner of lights front and rear, the OEM switches, and a streamline front bumper with light and winch, and Black TRD Pro rims and ordered BFG KO2 275/70/17. You may say I am way ahead of myself at this point.

Got word Friday, my T4R was on the boat coming from Japan and the boat caught on fire and several vehicles burned. I think mine was burnt and the boat is going back to Japan. Bummer. Now I have to wait much longer.

Just my bad luck again.

no disrespect to you but this sounds like such a load of Salesman BS! (because he sold the vehicle out from under you or he overcommitted to the delivery schedule, or never knew it and just guessed in the first place).
where is the news story that a container ship burnt at sea? In this day and age of 24/7 media, don't ya think it'd be reported that a cargo ship carrying vehicles caught fire at sea and had to return to port? I'd be a little more skeptical of this dealer or salesman... just seems like a load of crap to me.

I agree, they sent me an email which they got referring to the fire. I checked and found a news story of a fire on a toyota cargo ship but it was from 2008. Hard to say what is true or not.

I picked them up on craigslist for under a grand. It was much cheaper to do these take offs than it would have been to get my factory 18's refinished and buy new tires for them.
