I am considering getting a new 2014 or 2015 4x4 4Runner. Either get a 4Runner or a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I haven't yet decided. Both look good on paper. I have not driven either one.
So, before I get a chance to drive the vehicles, I do have questions about the audio system that I hope you folks can answer:
(Note: I am used to driving with my Garmin RV760 GPS. I especially like having my current speed AND the speed limit showing. You could say I am paranoid about this.)
1. Does the Entune Premium Audio System with Navigation show the current speed and the speed limit?
2. About every 3 months I update my Garmin maps. It has lifetime maps and traffic. (Magellan & Rand McNalley & TomTom have similar offerings.)
Can you update the Entune Navigation? If so, for how long? Forever?
3. If the Entune Navigation DOES NOT show speed and speed limits and/or the maps cannot be updated, is there a spot on the panel I could mount my existing Garmin GPS? The photos in the advertising brochures make it look like the dash is pretty crowded already.
4. On a different subject, do you know if front and rear parking sensors can be added to the 4Runner Trail vehicle? It seems to me these sensors would be very handy in city driving.
