Navigation Torent

Has anyone try to download a torent for the navigation, i try to download the torent generation 6 version 1 u92. but it doesn't work. when i put it in the derive it doesn't read the dvd.

I hope i don't get much slack for this. I was trying to save some money for a new updated dvd.

The only issue with downloading the torrent is converting it into a CD. I don't actually know if its just a DVD format or a proprietary format on the CD which would require an .exe to convert your torrent file into "super secret Toyota Navigation DVD format."

Posting about how you're attempting to steal software from Toyota probably isn't a good idea on a public forum, especially one that gets indexed by Google.

That said, you're probably going to run into an issue burning it as the drive that reads the navigation disks is extremely picky about the format the image was burned in, the booktyping that your optical burner is capable of setting on the media, as well as the media format of the actual DVD itself. Some brands of media may not work as well as others in this scenario.

In short, you'll probably burn through more double layer DVDs (not to mention time) and finding an optical burner that could burn it properly trying to get it right than it would cost you to just give Toyota the $162 for the OEM disc.
