need a name of a good injector rebuilder..

Hi all,

Awhile back, I saw a post about rebuilding injectors. I cannot find that post. Anyway,
I have access to 6 out of another 4 Runner, and if it wouldn't be to expensive to rebuild them, it maybe an option.

So if anyone can remember the name of this rebuilder, or the name of a reputable one please pass it along.

Ditto on witch hunter very true honest service no BS. Yet, I don't think he rebuilds injectors, just cleans, flow test and returns with them with new seals.

Bad injectors are sent back with a flow test charge. A quick call to WH will answer all your question.

RC Engineering is the usual response I see when people ask about injector cleaning/flow testing. $24 each, plus the cost to ship them to California. Their site says that if you overnight them, they can do a 3-day turnaround (ship them on monday, get them back on thursday).

Fuel Injector Clinic only $20. Do great work, ran there 1150cc and 1600cc injectors in the past.

I ordered a rebuild kit for 25 bucks. I just have not time to do it. Comes with all the seals. If have to test them first with a DM. I'm sure they are slightly leaking with 200k miles.

Got any pics of the kit? Is it something a DIY can do or is it not worth it? Do up a how-to for us if you get to them.

The kit just comes with seals and nozzle cups. Ill post a how to. I got the kit from ebay. I don't think sending them out to rebuild would be any different. Besides them pressure testing it. I beleive it the amps are in range with the DM then it should be fine. Especially if your not having any current issues. I'm just doing it for preventive maintenance. It be a while till I have time to do a write up. I'm surprised no one did a write up already on this site.

I think the most time consuming. Is getting to the injectors.
