NEED ADVICE: Fender Bender

So I let my roommate borrow the runner to grab his GF and the Pizza and he backed it into one of the orange parking poles. The wheel-well fender is flattened and the left quarter panel has a wrinkle in it. He's committed to replace it, but I'm not sure on the correct procedure to go about making that happen.

I'm planning to grab a premium turtle wax kit today to get the yellow paint off for now. I think I can live with the wrinkle in the quarter panel, but what's the best way to repair or replace the fender.

Thanks for any advice. I'll post a pic in a few hours.

that sucks. better have been damn good pizza!!!

If it were me, I'd go to a body shop I trusted, get the estimate, give him a copy. Then get it fixed and give him the bill. If he's going to go through insurance then I have no clue.

I'd probably also have him chauffeur me around while the repairs were being made...of course, that may not be the best idea seeing as he likes to run into stuff

Yeah go to a body shop and get an estimate or two or three (to be fair). Pick the place you like best and have your roommate cough up the dough ahead of time. Don't let your friendship impair your ability to get it repaired properly because he's a bro.

hopefully the reason he borrowed your car isn't that he doesn't have one of his own, because that could hinder his ability to drive you around while it's being repaired.
