Need advice on purchase of T4R?

I currently do not own a T4R, but I am looking to buy one asap. The 4 runner seems like the perfect vehicle for me. I am looking for something very road-trip savvy and good for recreational activities. I was leaning towards the 4th generation models and looking to spend anywhere from 20k up to 28k. Any advice will be much appreciated, buying tips along with certain things to look for and inspect on the vehicle as well. I can't wait to join the community and begin my journey! Thanks
