need advice

Hey guys....Trying to make a decision here.

I am trying to decide between buying a Dension Ice Link and a new IPOD and installing in my 05 4runner, or going to the Classic Soft Trim dealer on Thursday and getting black (dark charcoal) leather and seat heaters installed.

Now, I know that the leather will cost me about $300-400 more, but I was just curious what you all would choose to do first. I will eventually do both, but am trying to decide what to do first....

Seats definetly......CD player has the same end outcome of the other stuff, but your stock seats aren't heating your ass :/

The ipod and ice link run right at $500 together. The leather is between 800 and 900. Maybe another $100-200 depending on the heaters....They had told me they could probably work them into the above price.

So, I think I will go for the leather.

Now, for another question. Should I reverse the side walls on my tires as well? I think it would give it a cleaner profile.

Nah, it looks better with the outlined white letters. Gives it more of a sporty look.

Even if you don't think so, just wait until you need tires and then have them mounted with the black side out.

My last SUV (Ford Escape) came with white outlined letters on the sidewalls and I asked the dealer to reverse them before I drove it off the lot. After a while, I wanted the white letters out because I thought it looked better. I guess the grass is always greener, ya know?

Yeah, I guess your right. I just was over at the Range Rover dealer on Saturday and they had a black Rover Supercharged that I saw with the black leather and black side wall tires and that is what ignited the flames here....

I am going to get the leather on thursday....I will post pics as soon as I get it done.

Well, just got back from the installer, and all I can say is wow! I love the leather in the vehicle. Nicer feel and look than the stock leather. I got the one stage heaters. It feels like the leather from my parent's 530i. Nice quality, especially with switching out the door panels as well. I will take some pics later.....
