I called all the truck/4x4/SUV accesories stores in my area (Reno), none of them have a seat in stock for me to see. So I really need your inputs.

ive heard they are bad news, i wanted them also, but after looking on other boards, etc. im NOT going to risk my kids lifes, just my thoughts.

I asked my dealer about those seats because I was curious after I saw your post. He told me that they are very unsafe and unreliable, in the case of an accident a child's life could be put at risk because it's not the factory installed seat or seatbelts.

I wouldn't risk it.
