Need assistance pinpointing leak 1996 4runner merry Xmas

Hey Merry Christmas everyone

If anyone can assist me in pinpointing a motor oil leak , it's coming from the front driver side front strut region.

I've attached some pictures below and I think it's the rear main seal or oil pan but not sure . There's a big puddle after sitting over night and a few drips at idle and it appeared once the weather started getting colder .

I put some Lucas oil stop leak and blue devil oil stop leak into the engine a few months back also as preventative measure.

Could be the oring for the oil cooler. You will need to de-grease the area first.

Probably the VC gaskets. Look for the highest point of wetness and isolate it to the gasket or seal above it. Also remember that the liquid would get blown backwards too. Definitely, degrease the entire area to help pinpoint the leak better.

P.S. Also, change that oil soon and get that crap stop leak out of the engine ASAP.

Agreed, definitely get that out of there...stop leak is no good. Stuff like that is designed swell your elastomers for the time being, and all you're doing is putting a bandaid over a much bigger problem. If a seal is degrading or failing, replace it.
