Need full set of emblems for 99 SR5

I just bought a mint 99 SR5 but it has the ugly ass Gold emblems and a few are missing and I'd like to get a complete set of either silver or black. TRDparts for you seems to be no more, anyone have a solid resource? Preciate cha.

Going out on a whim here, but [MENTION=113401]whyzee125[/MENTION] might be a source to go to if he's still parting out some rigs. I got some nice chrome emblems from him last year.

I am switching my silver to the ugly ass gold because I thought they looked better, lol. To each their own!

I'd swap you, but it would be missing the SR5 emblems. Junkyards might be your best bet, the silver emblems are aplenty, the gold are much more uncommon.

If you want to go black, you could paint while on the car?

I have the ugly gold emblems as well. Problem is that i have all of um on everything..so painting/replacing is more of a PITA then its worth.

Maybe theyll fall off..

Plastidip them black. It's not hard to do and all you need is the plastidip, tape, newspaper, and a few kabob skewers to clean up the holes and corners. I've done 2 vehicles and they came out pretty good. Look up videos on YouTube.

You could always plasti-dip them, too. That's what I did to mine and they turned out nice. Or paint them, whichever flavor you prefer.

I learned to live with the gold emblems that came on my green LTD. Some of my friends hate them and I like that.

I have rigs with chrome and gold both. I don't blame folks for painting of plastic dipping them. Lots of people even elimate them all as well.

Lots of the newer vehicles have black out kits etc for the emblems as well. I do not know if those kits exist for the 3rd gens.

I have a few friends that blacked out their new Tocuma emblems on their rigs.
