Need help ASAP (UCA install/ABS related...)

I'm leaving on a 2 week trip to CO this weekend. Trying to get my truck ready.

I Installed Camburg UCAs today. All seemed to go well, but I now have flashing ABS light and 4 lo light.:crybaby:

I was pretty darn careful with the wires, but some quick searches seem to indicate it is probably one of the speed sensor wires. They must be super fragile because I put no strain on them at all.

Anyway, are there any diagnostic tools/techniques that can help me figure out which wire it is. I was hoping something other than testing resistance on each wire individually... but it may come to that. I checked trouble codes and there were none.

You need an ABS capable scantool to pull ABS DTCs if there are any, that would be the best way.

Just reset the light and see what happens.

When I installed my lift I guess I had the ignition on when I had the vehicle on the lift. So apparently this wigged out the system cuz I was rotating all wheels in when the vehicle was in the air. When I was done I saw lights on. I resetted the lights with a obd2 scan took and never a problem sense then.

Think I found the issue. I tested resistance on each wire and the passenger side speed sensor wire is toast. I don't understand how it got pulled. Must have already had damage.

I ordered a replacement and should have it tomorrow.

Not happy about it, but not the end of the world. Lessened learned. Treat that those wires like they are made made of glass.

Whenever I'm working on the front end, first step after removing the wheel, is to unbolt all the brackets and tuck the wire up inside the engine bay.

The good thing is those wires aren't too difficult to replace. I did my passenger side one outside in the dark during the winter.

Once the wire is replaced, will the lights automatically reset or how do I do that?

Yes, after you put it into drive the lights will reset.

I'm glad you were able to get in there. I was going to suggest doing exactly what you did. 2 steps ahead of me.
