What do you run as your track whore/street car? I've owned a number if these myself over the years. Not anymore but I'd love to own another track whore whether it have two wheels or four.

I normally run 21pounds or so, mainly because it boost creeps like a mother. It'll creep to 20 in August with the heat, cool fall nights gets me 22-23pounds, my fuel cut is at 25.
I can list all the mods if'd you like.

This is right after break-in, no boost control, just boost creep:lookout:

I don't have any runs with a boost controller, I can tell you I have 20psi by 3500rpm and guestimate torque in the 375ish rage @4500rpm from experience with other DSM's. I guess I know it's fast and don't care anymore what the piece of paper says. My goal was 325whp, with broad, usable power... mission accomplished lol

Making this my build thread since the pics are already up

So for my latest job I'm commuting 60miles each way, gas here is $3.99 so I thought now was a great time to work on fuel economy. The first 2 days I averaged 17.8mpg, but today I drove like an ass to and from which dropped me to 17 even.

Tonight I installed an All Pro diff drop, I have a vibration that comes and goes at highway speeds, hoping it's just the cv's. That vibration has to be costing me a little, hopefully it's gone in the morning. If not I'll pull the spacers tomorrow, then only tire balance will be left.

Also hit it with the Seafoam tonight, smoked like a turbo car. Doubt it's ever been done in its first 178K, service records show a t-body decarbonization around 100k so it might have been done then.

I've been searching for a fix to the cruise controls commando downshifts and have found nothing... if anybody has a link, that would be great.

I have the blower on the shelf, I've been hesitant since gas is so expensive but I might be able to break 20mpg with it helping the trans not having to downshift. I really don't need much of a reason to install it, I have been missing it for some time.

The diff drop worked wonders, vibration is all but gone. The seafoam improved throttle response and power... unless the diff drop made it faster :biggrin2: I'll probably hit it with the seafoam again in a week before I change the oil.
