need help! eco zone.

anybody else having this same problem? all of a sudden the "eco driving indicator zone display" stopped working. i can still see the "eco" light working.
i drive a 2012 4runner limited.

I know this is the obvious answer, but did you just change the mode? What is it displaying now? Also I know it stops displaying when you shift into sport, or when cruise control is activated.
 
Did you press the control stalk in the instrument cluster? It seems obv but you never know.

Also when I'm in tiptronic it goes away, and correct me if I'm wrong (I barely use that thing) cruise control shuts it off as well. Is your green cruise light on?
 
I have a 2010 and it does something similar. Cycle through the selection with the push button and it might come on. Mine does, most of the time.

Thank you for your response. I yes it happened when i switch to sport to pass somebody then when i switch it back to drive it never came back on like it normally do.

i tried to reset it and toggle thru eco on and off. no joy.

i have always been using it to tame down my aggressive driving but this time it just stop working. no, the cruise control were off.

the eco light works as advertised but it is not just showing the zone.

I was hoping to see that somebody either confirmed a solution to this but I noticed the same thing with my 2019 4Runner.

It seems the Eco bar just randomly stops measuring. Though I do use cruise control I'm pretty sure it does it sometimes without it so I'm not sure if there's something wrong?

I'm definitely nowhere near 80 miles per hour ether and I'm pretty sure I'm not using cruise control when this happens. I do have the Eco Green light active.

Is there something wrong or am I just missing something?

I turned that stupid green eco light off on my 19 OR. The bar still works just fine. Pretty sure you have to be in park to turn the light on / off.

Yes to turn it off you need to be in park. But my problem is Eco bar seems to stop working while I'm driving randomly.

Forgot all about eco bar. Turned that thing off right after turning off the carnival noises when you unlock the doors.
 
You can turn the bar off? I’d love to get rid of mine. You need Carista or something like that to access that menu?

Eco bar and the dumb wheel angle icon... I just don’t get it.
 
Apparently it was because i was using cruse control and when i turned off cruse control i was decelerating so there was no eco zone to show. Think its fine, just me not understanding it didn't show while using cruse control.

I know you can turn off the green eco light, but didn't know you could turn off the eco bar?

I guess get why they have the eco bar, it clearly shows to help you improve MPG. Like a guarantied ~20mpg if its within range all the time. I'm coming from a car that got 35mpg, so the closer to 20mpg the better. lol

The wheel angle icon would help when off roading and wanting to know wheel angle when someone is spotting and directing you to turn your wheel R/L/Straight.
