I apologize if this is long winded but I am at a loss here. I got a p0430 code and. Here is the background.
I noticed an exhaust manifold gasket leak and repaired that. It no longer leaked but after the fix I got the code. Since then I have replaced the cat and both sensors and check for leaks. Nothing has made the code stop coming back.
I have had the URD y pipe for a few years so I know that is not the issue. I also have the URD maf recalibrator that was pre-configured / pre-prgrammed by URD. Last I have a afe CAI.
What can be causing the codes since it can not be the cat or sensors? This is the second time the cat has been replaced in a year which made me question it being bad in the first place. Is it the maf re-calibrator needing reprogramming. Can it be the maf itself?
the only other issue seems like a louder vsv valve a slightly worse gas mileage.
Any ideas would be truly appreciated.
