Need help finding a part

Hey guys. Need help finding this part. I am new to everything and I cant for the life of me figure out the name of this part. I just need the cover/lens. The guys at the car wash cracked it. If anyone knows what it is called or where i can find it, i would gladly appreciate it

check your local junk yard or eBay. My local junk yard usually has them. To remove pull the knob ends of the sliders and off then gently pry both ends with a small screwdriver and it will pop right out. I would change the tiny bulb why you are in there so you wont have to worry about it.
I am not sure of the official name but I refer to it as the fan/temp control cover.

That plastic panel is called a bezel or face plate.
Since this forum covers 1st and 2nd gen Runners, it helps to tell us what year your truck is when you post.
The same panel is used in 84-88 trucks and 84-89 (1st gen) 4Runners, which should better your chances a salvage yard. Or just have a dealer order one for you.

careful removing these I've cracked a few they are usually a little brittle particularly if the truck was smoked in and they used the ash tray.

o ya and when you re-glue it, careful not to use too much krazy glue it will squirt out and get on the faceplate ruining it, ask me how I know, haha.

That is a climate control face plate/bezel as stated. This is a part that most first gens have issue with. You will have a very hard time finding one that's good in a junk yard your best bet is Ebay. They go for around $25 plus shipping. It is not hard to install it just pops in.
