Exactly...this is where I bought mine, $80 and it only cost me $22 to ship from MA (I have a UPS account and get excellent rates through work). I'd offer him $75 or $80 shipped and see what he says.

If you are also interested in the FJC Tokico shocks there is a guy giving them away in the "Free" section of the classifieds. You just have to pay for shipping. These aren't as good as the FJC Bilsteins but an upgrade from stock.

From all the research I've done the FJ coils on a T4R help with ride quality, cornering, and brake dive. They also will give you a slight lift, I've seen it range from 1/2" - 1". When paired with Bilstein 5100's it's a cheap way to upgrade your suspension and level the front. Ive never heard of anyone regretting putting on FJ coils.

Is that mean FJ coils stiffer/stronger the 4runner coils?

I had the springs side-by side. I don't know what your dealer is talking about. The FJ and the T4R have many shared components, springs are not one of them. The FJC springs I used had a larger diameter barstock and were longer. They indeed lifted my front end. From all the reading and looking at other peoples pics etc the FJC springs did the same or a hair less than a 1" spacer lift and I ended up with a slightly higher spring rate. For my needs/wants it's perfect. For many it wouldn't be enough.

Stupid question: I got the FJ springs in my basement, should I ever need to do the swap when/if the XREAS craps the bed.
There are 2 pairs of springs....2 larger and 2 smaller. Which ones go where?

The two larger are for the rear and the smaller ones are for the front.
