Need help finding wiring harness

Hi all,

I specifically need the wiring harness that's inside the tail gate garnish.

I can't find the Toyota part number for this and having a difficult time trying to find it for sale.

I would actually love to buy this entire thing, as pictured: the garnish, license plate lights, and harness.

Anyone have any idea?

Junk yard or dealership likely the best option. Ive replaced a few tailgates and I have a harness, Im not sure its that one.

If you take a picture of whats going on with your situation, I can see if I have something that may work.

Your easiest option would be to repair if at all possible

I have a 2004 4runner and I was installing some LEDs for the license plate lights. However, the light housing and lens was caked shut and the screws were completely rusted, so I damaged the license plate housings and wiring harness in the process.

I've repaired it and have it working again, but without the license plate light housing, and just running straight LEDs lamps without the housing, so it's kinda ghetto. Also I cut the connectors off the harness, so I had to solder into the wires, which works, but would rather go back to factory if possible.

Do you happen to have two license plate light housings and the harness for it? Even better if it includes the latch handle button.

I might have what youre looking for. Ill take a picture tomorrow. But yea, those screws are terrible. Should have used nylon screws
