Need help indentifying two plugs right under the dash

I cannot for the life of me find where these go. The 2wd harness I took out has them too so I know it’s not the 4x4 specific. They are tied up with the clutch start cancel. It’s the only ones I’m confused about. Any help would be great

I believe they have something to do with the e-locker harness. some 4runners come pre-wired from factory regardless if the vehicle actually has a locking rear.

If you really want to find out, take wire colors look at FSM answer will be there.

I was just in there looking at mine 2 days ago too. I think one is for the locker switch, and the busier one is for the power mirrors control. I have neither of those 2 options. I think - don't know this for certain.

There are a couple of those in my 96 m/t 3.4 4x4 that look just like the ones pictured, neither for e-locker in my case. Toyota installed harnesses with plugs they didn't always use. Are you looking to use them for something or just trying to figure out where they go- or would go if you had the option they were used for?

I just swapped over the entire harness from a wrecked 4x4 manual to the body of a 4x2 automatic and I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something. I don’t remember unplugging them and I didn’t take nearly as many pictures as I should

One is for the rare unicorn front locker option and the other is for AC driver seats.


J/K...I have the same two plugs on my 97 A/T non-locked 4x4 and they don't do anything. I have the switch/harness/ECU for the elocker which i'm swapping in and neither plug fits any of them.
