Hello,
I have a 2016 Trail that is in need of some new tires. The situation I have is-
I have a brand new set of takeoffs from my truck that are the exact size match- 265 75 17..... BUT They are 10 ply.
What I would like to do is air them down as far as possible and use them. Even if the life span is shorter, it would still help. A local shop told me I could go down to 40lbs. Does anyone have any idea if that's accurate
I really would like to save the money and use them, it would help, but I want to make sure that
1) I can do it safely
2) the ride won't just be brutal.
3) How low can I air them down
Thanks in advance for any help
